I have been training with Katie for 15 months. We started out with running/ endurance training where Katie helped me to achieve a sub 4 hour marathon goal as well as helping me to build strength. After smashing my goal at 3 hours 51, we adapted my training and focused more around strength and conditioning.
My life has changed dramatically, I am the fittest and strongest I have ever been physically and mentally. Katie is an expert in her field, a fantastic coach, mentor supporter and friend. Whatever level you are training at, Katie knows exactly how to support you in achieving your goals.

Katie is a very experienced coach but alongside that she has a lovely, kind and caring approach to her coaching. Her focus is always on what our daughter wants to achieve and has a wealth of experience to help her. Since training with Katie, Phoebe has learnt how to perfect her running technique whether that’s uphill, downhill road or cross country. Alongside this she has taught our daughter (and us too) the importance of strength training, sleep and diet to help get the best from races and runs and help feel the strongest going into events. This advice also transferred nicely for feeling good and preparing for exams week at school, also using the running as a time for head space and an anti stress outlet. The goals they set between them aren’t always about winning but being the best you can be and new PBs, understanding that has really encouraged Phoebe to set goals that so far she has achieved and feels super proud! We can’t thank Katie enough for her knowledge, support and kindness she always shows and Phoebe loves her sessions with her… so do we as we can’t keep up nowadays!

Katie - I just want to thank you for getting me in shape for this year’s London Marathon. The whole experience was professional, whilst being personal, using the latest technology to great effect. From the initial running assessment in your studio (where you identified my posture was the cause of previous knee injuries) through to the use of Training Peaks to set and discuss my weekly schedule, you used technology to brilliant effect.
But for me, it was the holistic coaching from day 1 to the weeks after the marathon, helping me to improve my overall sleep, health, nutrition and effective fluid intake, as well as real time program changes to training and helping me to prevent and manage injury.
I went into the London Marathon with the best possible preparation and finished in the best possible time, exactly what we talked about in our first session and you delivered….in spades.

In late 2023, I obtained a charity place in the Prague Marathon which was taking place in May 2024. I discussed it with a colleague at work and their immediate respons was “get in touch with Katie as soon as possible.” It was the best advice I could have received. I contacted Katie the day before Christmas Eve and we agreed that we’d start my training from the 1st January. My original target was sub 4 hours and Katie put together a tailored and personalised training plan to help me work towards this goal. Due to living around 30 miles away, I opted for the online coaching option which worked fantastically. Katie would upload my training schedule to the Training Peaks app each week and my runs would then automatically upload from my Garmin watch so that Katie could monitor my performance as well as other factors such as heart rate, pace and cadence. We also used Training Peaks for post training summary comments which I found extremely motivational.
My training went very well indeed, and Katie adjusted my sessions to challenge me so that I continued to make excellent progress. I ended up completing my marathon in 3 hours 36 minutes which I was delighted with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Katie - her expertise, dedication and passion for seeing her athletes succeed make her an exceptional coach.

When I found out that I had a place to run in the London Marathon, my first thought was, ‘can I actually do this?!’. Then I met Katie, and little did I know, she would get me to the start line feeling confident and strong.
The support and encouragement from Katie was brilliant. The tailored training plan, the checks ins to see how each run went, to the constant reminders that I could do it. She went above and beyond to prepare me for my longest run ever. I absolutely loved every session and that strength and conditioning training is now a weekly date in the diary. I can’t recommend her enough.

Whilst I have been running for years and run 15 marathons before being recommended to Katie, I have never been able to run a sub 4 hour marathon.
After an initial assessment where Katie was able to highlight a number of areas to improve upon from day 1, she put together a detailed plan of a mixture of running and strength and conditioning. The online portal which tracked each session enabled me to comment on them and then Katie could provide feedback and see all the data from each run. This was invaluable and also a good way of keeping me accountable for the weekly plan.
After following her plan and her guidance and advice, I ran my 16th marathon at Chester and ran 3 hours 57 minutes and felt so much stronger throughout the race. I was delighted with the result and have no hesitation recommending Katie.

After a break from fitness classes and going through the menopause, my lack of confidence and motivation was a little dented. From my first session with Katie, her encouragement, knowledge and friendly approach made going to weekly sessions great fun! The sessions were always a varied mix of exercises and I soon began to feel stronger, happier and healthier. Katie has supported me on my running journey this year. Thanks to her encouragement, enthusiasm and expertise, I successfully completed my first 10-mile trail race in the Lake District and it was such an incredible experience.
